This project was created with classmates, Nina Cuesta, Anna Sabourin, and Alexis Ely. The Greenline develops a city block in Gainesville, FL in an imagined future without personal transportation. Less emphasis on streets allows residents to take control of community space. We imagined an elevated train sysytem connecting to hot spots and nature trails. the design takes design inspiration off the trainline itself. We maximize natural greenspace with multiple levels throughout the site allowing it to connect to the existing forested area past the NW boundary of the site.
