This project was in collaboration with Alyssa Grenspan and Natalie Manrique. This project was focused on reacting to site in order to create space and depth. Room and garden can also be described as a development of constructed groumd. where plane and structure are systematically integrated throught the itinerary. Inspired by a given story, the individual programs combined to create a complex relationship. The story speculates about a world where a person only lives for one day. Poeple born in the morning have the whole day ahead of them, and gravitate toward the light. People born at night begin their day in darkness and are confined to the indoors. The project is based on the changes made by both the people in the story and the sun throughout the day.
